Join us for the Watts Up Arab Electric Camp June 4-5 at AEC! This free camp is designed for students who have completed the 5th grade and live within AEC’s service area. Throughout the camp, participants will explore how electricity works, discover how weather and vegetation impact power, and hear from a guest speaker about energy conservation. Attendees will also witness linemen performing pole top rescues and see firsthand how our Right-of-Way team clears vegetation around power lines. Plus, students will take part in an exciting hands-on experiment and games!

A highlight of the camp will be a field trip to the Guntersville Dam, where students will get a firsthand look at how hydro power generates electricity.
