Start Electric Service

To start or begin traditional electric service, please visit our office or complete the form below. The form is for Traditional services only. To establish prepay services please contact our office.

We will need the following information:

  • Driver’s License or 2 forms of ID
  • 911 Address (physical and mailing)
  • Contact Information as well as a friend or relative that can contact you
  • Proof of property ownership or lease agreement
RESIDENTIAL FEE
Pay Membership (new members) $5.00
Deposit $150.00
Connect Fee $25.00
COMMERCIAL FEE
Pay Membership (new members) $5.00
Deposit 2 times the highest bill in 12 month history
Connect Fee $25.00

Stop Electric Service

In order to stop your electric service please visit our office or complete the form below. 

Transfer Electric Service

If you are transferring your electric service

To transfer an electric service (moving from one AEC location to another AEC location), please visit our office or complete the form below. 

We will need the following information:

  • Account will need to be paid to current
  • Driver’s License or 2 forms of ID
  • 911 Address (physical and mailing)
  • Contact Information as well as a friend or relative that can contact you
  • Proof of property ownership or lease agreement
RESIDENTIAL FEE
Connect Fee $25.00
If you move within a 10 day period, if you need service in both locations for longer than 10 days you will need to pay Deposit $150
COMMERCIAL FEE
Connect Fee $25.00
if you move within a 10 day period, if you need service in both locations for longer than 10 days you will need to pay a new deposit (2 times the highest bill in 12 month history for new location). On commercial deposits we will also look at your current deposit amount to verify that it is what you need for the new location (could be raised or decreased depending on 12 month history).

Please call AEC to make any necessary changes to your information so that we can ensure that we have your current information in our files.

Please make certain that we have a current phone number on file so that we can contact you in case of planned power outage or maintenance in your area.
